In Math we investigated coordinate planes.  We used landmarks (school, library etc..) and talked about how to move east/west/north/south to get to the next landmark.
In ELA we started our new menu on Paul Revere.  We watched the Paul Revere episode of Liberty's Kids , a PBS show.  Kids can watch these on You Tube or on Discovery Ed.  These will help them understand the Revolutionary war and get the background knowledge that they need.
We also started going over the CASE 21 reading test in small groups.  I was a little disappointed with how little the kids marked in the text.
In science we watched and took notes on Brain Pop videos and Study Jams videos on Force, Work, Power and Inertia.
